Booking T&C’s

Booking Terms and Conditions

1. Booking Confirmation:
* All bookings are subject to availability and will be confirmed only upon receipt of the required deposit.

2. Payments:
* A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.
* Full payment must be received by the specified date prior to your travel. Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of your booking.
* Balance payments are subject to the prevailing rate of exchange (ROE) at the time of payment. Any fluctuations in the exchange rate may affect the final amount due.

3. Cancellations & Amendments:
* Any cancellations or changes to your booking must be made in writing.
* Cancellation fees may apply, depending on the cancellation policy of your booking
* Amendments to your booking may incur additional charges, depending on availability and the nature of the change.

4. Flight Schedule Changes:
* Airlines may alter flight schedules or cancel flights due to operational reasons or unforeseen circumstances.
* Charimo Travel Solutions will do its best to inform you of any changes as soon as we are notified.
* We will assist in rebooking or arranging alternative travel plans, but please note that changes may result in additional costs or require flexibility in your itinerary.
* Charimo Travel Solutions is not liable for any delays, missed connections, or additional expenses incurred as a result of flight schedule changes.

5. Passports Validity & Visas:
* It is the traveler’s responsibility to ensure that their passport is valid for at least six months beyond the intended return date and contains the required number of blank pages.
* Travelers are responsible for obtaining the necessary visas for their destination(s) and any transit countries.
* Charimo Travel Solutions can provide guidance, but we are not responsible for any issues arising from invalid or insufficient travel documents, including denied boarding or entry to a country.

6. Refunds:
* Refunds are subject to the cancellation policy and may take up to 90 days to process.
* Please note that the initial deposit is non-refundable.

7. Travel Documentation:
* It is your responsibility to ensure that all your travel documents (passports, visas, etc.) are valid and up to date.
* Charimo Travel Solutions will not be liable for any travel disruptions due to inadequate or missing documentation.

8. Liability:
* Charimo Travel Solutions acts as an agent for airlines, hotels, and other service providers, and as such, we are not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury that may occur during your travel.
* We recommend that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover unforeseen events.

9. Travel Insurance:
* Travel insurance is strongly recommended for all bookings. It is your responsibility to purchase a policy that covers your specific needs.

10. Group Tours:
*A minimum number of participants is required for group tours to proceed. If the minimum number is not met, Charimo Travel Solutions reserves the right to cancel the tour or offer an alternative.
* Special payment terms may apply for group tours, including earlier final payment deadlines and higher non-refundable deposits.
* Any specific terms and conditions for the group tour, including cancellation policies, will be outlined on the invoice and are binding.
* Group members are expected to adhere to the itinerary and any instructions provided by the tour leader. Any deviations may incur additional costs.
Complaints & Disputes:
* If you have any complaints or issues during your trip, please notify Charimo Travel Solutions as soon as possible, and provide us with a reasonable opportunity to resolve the matter.

Health & Safety:
* It is your responsibility to ensure you are aware of any health requirements or vaccinations needed for your destination.
* Charimo Travel Solutions is not liable for any issues related to health or safety during your trip.

Force Majeure:
Charimo Travel Solutions is not liable for any failure to perform due to unforeseen circumstances, such as natural disasters, pandemics, or other events beyond our control.

Governing Law:
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa, and any disputes arising will be subject to the jurisdiction of South African courts.
